Trains on Metra’s Union Pacific North line came to a halt Friday evening after a body was found on the Kenilworth station platform. Trains in both directions were stopped when the body was found about 7 p.m, according to Metra spokesman Tom Miller. It was not immediately clear if the person had been hit by a train. Miller said the Cook County Medical Examiner was called to the scene and Kenilworth police are investigating. No additional details were immediately available.
